41 years ago she was born and raised up near Düsseldorf, Germany. Her storybook carrer started end of the 80ies when
Ellen von Unwerth shoot her for
GUESS. A contract with Chanel followed and soon Karl Lagerfeld discovered her in a Vogue-Editoral. She worked for Revlon, Versace and Valentino and stood in a row with "Supermodels" like Cindy Crawford. Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista, Helena Christensen and Naomi Campell. She became the first German Supermodel and still is!
Loved for her unique look, her naturalness and her amazing body with curves she is one of the most changeable models for me. Unfortunately, she also changed a lot when the skinny models stormed the runways and Karl Lagerfeld said that her time is over! Long time it seemed so, but she only settled down, married Vince Vaughn and got three beautiful children. After that break it was Karl Lagerfeld who wanted her back with Chanel and Claudia is back in business.
Besides campaign, cover shoots and editorials for some magazines she launched her first cashmere collection with
Iris von Arnim this year.
Not only a Supermodel, but also wife, mother and business woman.
