PRESHOPP – The fashion search engine

For some weeks it was a well kept secret within bloggers and I’m sure some of you may have heard or even tested it already – PRESHOPP has launched.

Preshopp is a new fashion search engine that brings bloggers and readers together.

Sometimes online shopping can be a little exhausting, at least for me. If I look for something special, I always scour the same online shops and in the end, I never have an overview and don’t know what to buy and finally, I always end up with the same labels. If you know what I mean!?

Now, you can search @Preshopp when you look for something special and you’ll receive all uploaded blog posts according to your search as results. So, you’ll find more interesting and new shops and/ or great blogs, you maybe never would have found without Preshopp.

So, for bloggers this is a great chance to spread their posts to a wider audience and readers have a bigger choice of content, no matter what they’re looking for. Sounds great, right?!

I was one of the lucky bloggers and readers to test Preshopp before and I have to say that I really like the idea behind it – Give and Take!

"& other stories" - my favorites

I'm sure you all have already noticed that the new online store "& other stories" has launched last Thursday. I tried to enter the pre-opening on Thursday, but there was no chance at all. So, I had a look just a few minutes ago and I'm definitely a new fan. My wishlist was full within seconds :-). But just the wishlist. Still no shopping for me :-(. Anyway, I just wanted to post my favorites and let you know that you should check out the online store. It's amazing!

ETAIL PR Competition: Marc B. and Asos Outfit

ETAIL PR is hosting a new competition until end of this week and since I newly signed up, I'll give it a try this week. 

The task is to create an outfit with clothing from Asos around a bag from Marc B.'s new collection.

I decided for the TORI Black (70,69 €) since it is a classic black bag, not too small (because I always carry a lot of stuff with me ;-)) and can be combined easily for casual as well as business outfits. 

After I decided for the bag, I browsed through the Asos online store and the first pieces I found was the green striped midi skirt and I felt in love asap. So, I choose everything else around the bag and the skirt. Actually, I wouldn't wear the white top (since my belly would pop out a little too much ;-)), but I would love to see this outfit on someone else...I really like it. Simple, comfy with a little twist. I picture this outfit for Carrie walking through Central Park on a Sunday :-).

Blogger parade from CLLCT - Me & my pet

The girls from the blogger network CLLCT called for a new blogger parade: ME and MY PET! And since I have a pet too and I adore this little guy ;-), I totally join. 

I guess some of you might already have noticed Jones, our french bulldog, on the one or other picture. Sometimes he just sneaks into them ;-). 

Well, we got Jonesy on New Years Eve 2010 when he was 8 weeks old. It was love at first sight between us. I was just browsing though the internet for breeders and there he was...a phone call, a first visit and he was our new family member! I grew up with dogs, but always really big ones who only listen to my dad. So, Jonesy is my "real first dog". I guess, everybody who has a pet knows how much one can love these cute little furballs! It's amazing. 

Since two years, he is somehow my shadow ;-). He follows me all around. I try to take him with whenever I can and we miss each other. But actually, we havn't been separated for more then 12 hours. Sounds a little crazy, right?! :-) But that's the truth, we spend a lot of time together....

When we are sick: (yes, I cancel nights out or dinner when he's sick ;-))

We watch the crazy neighbor dog: 

yeahh....and sometimes we fight about food (and believe me, it's not easy to resist those big brown eyes): 

And there are days, of course, when I get a little mad, because he won't listen (no his ears are not made for better listening). But I can never be mad at him for longer then 10 minutes...terrible. And no matter what, I love our little bat! 

Who has a pet too? Guess, you totally know what I'm talking about, right?! :-)

The Christmas Super Market in Cologne

Usually, I like chillin on Sundays at home - reading, watching Kitsch movies and all such things. But this Sunday I will make an exception, because it's Christmas Super Market in Cologne this weekend!

Spanish Moss - a Vintage Love

Recently, I browsed though all the links I saved in my favorites during the years. I deleted some, refreshed some and also had the first time a look on the page...Yes, sometimes I just save something and then forget to look deeper into it. This time I discovered "SPANISH MOSS" again. A wonderful online shop for Vintage, but also new ready-to-wear and all kinds of accessories.

Vincent & Suzanne Ford-Carafano founded Spanish Moss and American Vintage in 2006. Suzanne’s 

love for "Vintage allover" started already in her early years. What can be seen clearly in the lookbooks is her passion for folk art, ethnography and nature in general. Vincent feels inspired by literature and philosophy what could explain the lovely names of the lookbooks which totally speak for themselves. You can read a little more here.

Honestly, I don't know where to start with the looks and I can't decide which lookbook I should focus on, because every single picture is an inspiration. You can totally see the love for nature, folk art, adventure and all of that in them. Suddenly, I feel transported to another time!

There she goes again - Jessica Weiß is back

Some weeks ago you could already subscribe to the Journelles newsletter for not missing the start...well, I missed it this morning after all :-(.

Jessica Weiß, the ultimate LesMads girl, is back with her blogzine "Journelles" after she had left LesMads and worked @Interview for a year. With a great backup of 4 lovely authors, like Kerstin Görling from Hayashi, Journelles will provide us with news, background stories and lots of lovely stuff about fashion and beauty.

Well, I guess there's nothing more to say....see it for yourself here. I'm happy about Jessie's return and I wish good luck and fun to her and the team.

This morning I spied the good news in my inbox....Mädchenflohmarkt is online!

Some weeks ago, the bloggers already revealed the secret and we had to wait....while the girls made us curious with snaphots from time to time. But we made it, waiting is over...so let's get started....SHOPPING!

My first impression...already spotted some favorites ;-). I like the page, looks clean and clear, easy to find things. That's good, I need easy handling ;-). Well, now I need to see what else to find....

Shopping tip: ModCloth

On Tuesday I was looking for some boots using the ShopStyle app. Lucky me, I found some zebra flats I totally felt in love with (boots are overrated ;-)). Surprised that I've never heard the shop ModCloth before I visited the online shop immediately.

ModCloth that are: Susan and Eric Koger and Winston, the Pug ;-). Susan was always passionate about Vintage and finding special clothes, accessories and decor. After college she made a business out of her passion. Together with her boyfriend- now husband - she created a beautiful online store and now has nearly 250 employees in Pittsburgh, LA and San Francisco. What a fairytale! Read more here.

This passion you can still see in the shop. It still looks like if Susan would still do this litte shop by herself...so personal and cute. The range is just great. Lovely unique pieces in all departments. I could spend a fortune there.

Miss Palermo is online...

When I tried to find Olivia Palermo's blog some weeks ago, I was really surprised that there is no official blog she owns. Of course, there are many blogs using her name, her outfits, her pictures and whatever...! But there was really nothing official Olivia posts herself. 

Fortunately, this time is over. Since last week, Miss Palermo went online with www.OliviaPalermo.com.

As I already mentioned in my posts before I'm a big admirer of The Hills and The City. I read LC's blog as well as Whitney's, I have their books (Lauren Conrad Style and True Whit) and I really love their collections Paper Crown and Whitney Eve. So, I always wondered why Olivia Palermo hasn't followed them yet?! Although I didn't like her character Olivia from Elle in "The City", I like the way she performed this little bitch in such a classy way. I always loved her looks. Her outfits, her hair and her make-up. She is defnitely one of the most elegant and classy women, at least in my opinion ;-).

So, I was really happy and exited when I read some weeks ago that she will go online with her blog OliviaPalermo.com. Well, I was quite busy this week, but now I had the chance to see what it's like...!

I like the clean layout. That fits to her. You can see little sketches on the left and right sight from Olivia. I like them a lot. Besides fashion, accessories and lifestyle topics, Olivia is going to post about traveling and give some tips, too. I mean, if someone can give good advices on styling and "how to" it's definitely Olivia!

Since, there are not so many posts in yet (of course) I'm really exited about how it will grow. I'm really looking forward to read it and see what's going on in her life and what she's experiencing.
